Chairman Profile

Toyoharu Nakatani

  • Born December 1956 in Nara Prefecture (currently residing there). Father of one son and one daughter.
  • Attended Osaka City University (now Osaka Metropolitan University) – Science PhD Program (withdrawn).
  • Worked at Tobishima Construction Technical Research Institute, engaged in internal consulting for dam, tunnel, and surface construction sites.
  • Rock/geology expert with extensive construction experience. Specialist in landslide disasters. Rich experience in construction site safety management.
  • After working at Hanshin Consultants’ Technical Development Department, left corporate life to become independent.
  • Founded Keystone Co., Ltd. in 1991. Started survey and inspection work using rope access techniques.
  • Established the Society of Rope Access Techniques in 1997 to promote the technology.
